Multi-stage expansion of large format shopping mall with 35+ key stakeholders

The project was delivered in two parts. Stage 1 was works on a new greenfield site which included Woolworths, Kmart, cinemas and 25 specialty retail shops with internal and external car parks and several further standalone structures. Stage 2 included a 12,000sqm extension. Tenants included Woolworths, with extended warehouse and refrigerated spaces with five loading docks for online shopping, gym, commercial office building with multiple tenants, Hungry Jacks and a number of smaller tenancies, as well as further car parks and a Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) signalised intersection. All tenants were carefully managed, ensuring their requirements were met, with more than 35 stakeholders integrating a lot of tenant scopes into our building.

Large civil and services scope

H.Troon coordinated all new services connections through the site for both stages, including three padmount substations, and water, gas and NBN connections individually installed for separate tenancies. There was a large civil package including drainage, excavation, asphalting, road furniture, line marking, curbs and gutters.
