Utilising our in-house design team to manage long-span oversize trusses

Several key materials, such as the pre-cast concrete members and the long-span trusses, were originally too big to transport. H.Troon approached this initially from a design approach by redesigning the pre-cast panels to allow them to be transported. The stadium’s large roof design involved dual lift of 25-metre long-span triangular trusses. H.Troon manufactured the steel trusses in-house and managed the permits and transportation of these oversized components to the site utilising a pilot front and back of a semi-trailer.
