Project consortia members including Melbourne Civic City Pty Ltd, internationally recognised TFE Hotels (formerly known as Toga Hotels, with brands including Adina Apartment Hotels, Medina Serviced Apartments, Rendezvous Hotels, Vibe Hotels, Travelodge Hotels and Hotel Kurrajong Canberra) and Metier3 Architects, were selected by the Victorian Government to develop and operate a new $28 million Hotel and Conference Centre in Marysville, in October 2012.
Other key Project partners included ANZ Banking Group as the Project consortia’s financier and H.Troon Pty Ltd, a Ballarat based Builder
Construction works commenced on-site in May 2013 and achieved Practical Completion in February 2015.
The Vibe Hotel and Conference Centre Marysville (known as Vibe Marysville) opened for trading on Thursday, 12 February 2015 and includes:
The Vibe Marysville currently employs 67 team members and 90% of these team members are from the Marysville triangle region.
Since its opening, over 4,000 guests have stayed and 1,300 delegates have attended conferences at the facility. Over 900 attendees are confirmed to participate in conferences over the next 6 months.
